Happy New Year 2024

Hi Reader,

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and some relaxing days off to rejuvenate for the coming New Year. 2024 is here and I'm excited to dive into this new year and dearly hope that all our wishes and dreams will come true.

Whilst I love this festive season I have come to realize that working in retail takes a little bit of the magic away, unfortunately. The relaxing time is suddenly not as relaxing as I remember it from those days when I worked in the office. LOL Even with all that said I think it's still a great time to enjoy with family and friends and to look back to 2023 and cherish all your wins no matter how small and what you've learned from your set backs? It’s a fun way to close the year and come up with new ways of how to start the new year.

For me my world view has changed. And this year I'm seeing the world inside and outside more and more as a puzzle with clues and hints placed everywhere for me to discover. It's a fun puzzle that is waiting for me to solve it. Does that sound familiar or rather far out and doesn't make any sense to you at all? Either way is fine as there is no right or wrong answer. Simply just some answer that feels right for you in that moment.

If you're intrigued to learn a bit more about what I mean by seeing my life in puzzle pieces read my latest blog post about "life is just a puzzle to be solved".

Make this new year your best year yet. I’m looking forward to bringing you a new look and way of presenting my sewing knowledge. Diving deep in mindset (a topic that place a huge role in my life) and discovering how we can live our creativity to live a fullfilled life.

I can't wait to get this year started. Lot's of experiments and new things to discover for me and I'm eager to share them with you.

Have a wonderful day and enjoy the first few days of this brand new year. A year full of empty pages ready to be filled with your stories and adventures. Don't waste the ink or pages just go start somewhere. Make this year one of your best years yet.

Happy creating.

Hi Reader, I know I've been quiet but I'm working on a lot of things behind the scenes. The biggest challenge for me as an entrepreneur is currently to find my message and where I fit in. The realm of sewing is huge and most people divide the sewing knowledge into two worlds - Dressmaking and Quilting. But what if there is another world. A world that holds endless potential to combine, create and explore? Like a connecting thread between those 2 worlds. Combined with the power of being a...

Hi Reader, Are you a Mackay local? If yes I hope you had time to go to the Bucasia Beach Quilter Craft fair this past weekend? Some stunning quilts have been displayed and local craft woman have shown the stunning work they do. Next time I have to ask them if I'm allowed to take some and share it with you. :) Picture...
