Hi Reader,
Have you every wondered if patchwork is something for you? Or is there a way to display my pictures in a more creative way than just in photo frames?
Well, here is an idea for you. In this 6 hour workshop we are going to create a picture wall hanging based on some simple patchwork. I simplyfied the technique so that everyone with basic sewing equipment is able to create it. From children to adults everyone who did my 8 week beginner course as well as everyone who knows some sewing basics is able to join this class.
Originally I planned it for 2 days as I wanted to make sure everyone is able to finish the project during class but I was able to come up with a more creative way which helps you get the most part done during class and if you are not able to finish it all you will receive detailed instructions and videos to finish the project at home. :)
If you need something fun to do for your child during school holidays or you need some fun activity join me in this awesome fun filled workshop to add some colour to your home. :) Just click the image above to be transferrd to the website. :)
And don't forget I have a special offer running for this class. If we have 5 new students joining us for this class each of the workshop members will receive $20 cash back. Simply share the class details with your family and friends and get some money back. Terms and Conditions apply. See Eventbrite page for further information.
And don't forget if you are not living close by to attend the in-person class here is the link to the online pre-recorded class.

Hi Reader, I know I've been quiet but I'm working on a lot of things behind the scenes. The biggest challenge for me as an entrepreneur is currently to find my message and where I fit in. The realm of sewing is huge and most people divide the sewing knowledge into two worlds - Dressmaking and Quilting. But what if there is another world. A world that holds endless potential to combine, create and explore? Like a connecting thread between those 2 worlds. Combined with the power of being a...
Hi Reader, I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and some relaxing days off to rejuvenate for the coming New Year. 2024 is here and I'm excited to dive into this new year and dearly hope that all our wishes and dreams will come true. Whilst I love this festive season I have come to realize that working in retail takes a little bit of the magic away, unfortunately. The relaxing time is suddenly not as relaxing as I remember it from those days when I worked in the office. LOL Even with all that...
Hi Reader, Are you a Mackay local? If yes I hope you had time to go to the Bucasia Beach Quilter Craft fair this past weekend? Some stunning quilts have been displayed and local craft woman have shown the stunning work they do. I had to work in my casual job but was able to walk through within the last hour of the event and it was wonderful to see all the art work. Unfortunately I don't have any photos. Next time I have to ask them if I'm allowed to take some and share it with you. :) Picture...
